A happy belated birthday to your daughter. She is growing up! I don't know anything about smelling burnt odors - hope you found out what is causing you to smell it all the time! Nice post Kat and always, enjoy reading about your everyday life! :-)

If the smell that you get is in your house only, then it is an environmental issue localized at your house. If the smell is always on your nose wherever you are and whenever- you possibly need to grow the habit of taking enough or a lot of water keeping your bowel movements in the right order. You should also avoid taking toxic foods or substances. How better can I think and say? I am just a layperson.

@mozammel: Maybe you got some points there, because I actually have some disorder in my bowel movements because I used to take iron tablets... I was so thankful that the burnt smell was gone, even I didn't recognized it when it dissappeared. Thanks for giving me that tips, I actually got another Fe tablet because of belly disorder.

Even though it had passed, Belated Happy B-day to your daughter. Good at least, she enjoyed her day with her friends, in spite of you not being with her. Thanks for sharing.

Happy belated Birthday to your girl and Wishing her Best of Everything. Sometime they need special occasion with friends, that was a great idea. My daughter celebrated her 21st last month and she wanted it differently. She went out with her good friends. She feels matured at that age so she said no cake and candles for once. She felt she needed to leave childhood and step into adult world lol. I somehow have to agree with her but with caution. lol

About the persistent smell of something burning, I would have thought environmental. But perhaps our friend mozammel's theory seems more likely the case. And you feel the same way about it. Good plain and simple blog and interesting.
