Wonderful Dahlia! I just read all your posts,they have excellent sharp pictures of the flowers, and very good details and information of the subject..I have glory lily in my collection,it grows well and is a native species in India, specially in central,south,India Eastern India,.
thank you for liking. yes, glory lily is a wonderful flower and the state flower of T.N It is also called flame lily and It is also the national flower of Zimbabwe where it grows wild. I saw this flower in college days when i had gone to Zambia to visit my parents . I took it for my herbarium from there.

thanks...that would be nice, but delhi heat, can they survive...i have not seen glory lily growing here? Will check from the gardener if it is available here, if not, i will send you request.

Thanks Vian Ola. Even i have seen this Dalhia but thought it was just a hybrid. It was only upon doing a google search on rare flowers did i get the information and thought of sharing with all here on fanbox too :)
