ASCAP Expo: Networking

This is my second year in a row at the ASCAP Expo. The reason I made it a point to be at this expo again this year was not only for the informative panels of super-star songwriters and producers that share their success stories and songwriting formulas, but also because of the networking opportunities. Call it lucky but last year I happened to be standing next to a producer for one of the biggest songs on the charts, as well as a VP of A&R for a major label. I exchanged numbers with both and we still keep in touch to this day.
