Hitmakers with Hit Producer/Writers for "Grenade", "Need You Now", and "Closing Time".
The panel, Hitmakers, included panelists Dan Wilson ("Closing Time", "Someone Like You"), Josh Kear ("Before He Cheats", "Need You Now"), and Ari Levine ("Grenade", "F**k You", "Nothin On You", and "Just the Way You Are").
The panelists shared their experiences and perspectives on topics such as collaboration, working with high profile artists/songs, how they get their inspiration, and their insights on how to write a hit song. The following is what I found most pertinent to me as a songwriter:
