Music Is My Dream Job

Yesterday was another typical day for me...full of new information, new opportunities, and so thankful for everything that The Divine continues to bless me with.

Although I only had 4 hours of sleep due to being in the studio very late last night, I had more energy than ever. So much energy that it was really hard for me to sit still while in my music distribution and music law classes in the morning.

Why was I so excited? Because I received two pieces of news that made me feel like I was flying.

Before I share this news with you, I have to admit that sometimes I feel a little self conscious about sharing what I feel are my small successes because I keep meeting really incredibly talented people that are light years ahead of me in talent and accomplishments. And that little negative voice in my head tries to scoff at me and belittle what I'm excited about. It says, "This isn't sh**! You know how much further you have to get to say you really accomplished anything?!?"

But the excited little girl in me can't help myself. And Tim and Bob always tell me it’s the small successes that one day lead to bigger things.
