I am amazed upon hearing and reading some ways in cooking rice for food, and there is really a variation from place to place, culture to culture.. like the half-cooked type(in Israel) and pouring some additives like salt. Basic and simple way is buy just adding plane water to it, varying the water depending on the outcome you may want. Adding aromatic flavor may also be done by placing some pandan or banana leaves at the bottom of rice pot.. Nice share!
i dnt cook rice with a salt in it! i am amaze that you did! i am wondering what be the taste of my rice if it has to be cook that way! however, its my sis who cook rice in our rice cooker so i might as well tell her to do this? i think she will goin to scold me if i will intervene her cooking the rice since i dnt do well in cooking rice in our rice cooker, call it nt my duty on our house...tsk tsk
