parrot faceThe dog was named Parrot.

The photo below was taken moments before Parrot was murdered by the cop. The cop drove his knee into the middle of Parrot's back while stretching Parrot's forelegs behind him, as one would do with an armed criminal. Without waiting to determine whether this technique would calm Parrot, the cop grabbed Parrot, lifted him off the ground, and brought him to the top of the concrete staircase.

He threw Parrot over the banister, down twelve steps, and onto the concrete floor

that is so mean he needs the same treatment

This guy is an ass. Maybe someone bigger than him can throw him up and over a banister, down a flight of steps and then shoot him. I'm not one to condone violence. But what this man did was senseless and cruel. If he treats animals this way, I can just imagine how he treats other people.

I absolute hate the police because they refuse to police their own. I live in rural WV and the crap I've seen cops get away with around here is sickening. Most cops are just huge assholes that become cops so they can have power to make themsevles feel better about how pathetic they are deep down inside. Yes, I fully understand that there are some good police officers out there...but the amount of good they can do is severely limited when they're stuck in such a screwed up system.

One time as an EMT this woman kept getting drunk and calling 911 saying she was going to kill herself. This was a weekly thing with her... So they sent EMS and police out there and of course after responding for the gazillionth time the police were pissed. So was I....but they decided to kick her door in and rather than asking me to step aside (and this came without any kind of sign or warning he was going to to it) he pushes me with his arm as he's kicking the door in, almost knocking me several feet down her hill.

I was engaged to a guy who's daughter called the cops and said he was locking her in her room and stuff and never letting her leave the house (which wasn't true at all...she didn't get her way once time and so his ex wife taught her to do that kind of crap)...so the cops showed up with her at his house to let her gather all her stuff to take. So she was trying to take HIS desktop computer and he very nicely tried to explain to them that that didn't belong to her. So what did they do? They force him down on the ground, start screaming at him, jam their knee into his back, arrest him for "obstruction of justice". I had to go bail him out and while I was there one of the cops that treated him like that was also treating me like shit when she saw me. Making very rude and personal comments that should have never been alowed because even if my fiance and I had been in the wrong...what point would there have been to treat us like that after the fact?

Then there were a couple of guys a few years ago that would get into trouble with the law, but it was never anything really bad. They smoked pot a lot and drank too much...but they had never hurt a soul. Well, there was a warrent for their arrest and the cops were looking for them....and the guys got on a 4 wheeler and went into the mountains to run from them. They got on 4 wheelers themselves and followed them (over the county line, which isn't allowed around here) and the guys finally stopped. The cops were behind them and the guys tried to signal to them that they were going to surrender...so what do these brilliant cops do? Open fire on them of course! They were completely unarmed and one of them died and the other ended up with severe damage to one of his arms. What happened to the cops? A little bit of PAID suspension. So basically they got a vacation out of the whole deal.

Sorry for the rant, but the fact that cops are just turned lose to do whatever the hell they want sickens me. I'm not stupid...I understand that dealing with REAL criminals must be a really hard job and they're under a lot of stress but MURDERING PEOPLE AND ANIMALS is sick.

Oh and just a side note....I think if you're going to allow someone to use a taser they should have to be shocked with it before you allow them to use it. If they realized what it felt like maybe they wouldn't be so gung ho about pulling it out on little old ladies and children.

WOW Kristy what an experience! I haven't had many dealings with the cops, but my house got broken into and the cops showed up (after 45 minutes because they got lost and I live in Toledo, Ohio- a really economically depressed and very crime ridden place - not like it some rural BFE place) and this past summer, a woman got gang raped behind my fence in the alley. No one including me heard a thing. One of the guys had thrown a purple shirt up on my shed in my back lot and there was a smashed cell phone and evidence in the grass people had been laying down and and it was definitely more than 2 people from the patterns in the grass. 3 phone calls to the cops and no one ever showed up. I know one of my neighbors who tried to help the woman called at least twice. Nothing was done.
If you ever get a chance, check out "The Thin Blue Line". Fantastic documentary about how cops' blood runs blue.

Of all the post here, this one make me really angry... i mean with that cop. I hate it when innocent animals are harmed by too small-minded people.
