I like to improve photos. I take antique photos and paint directly on them.
It started because a friend of mine has a photography studio and he went up in the attic of the building he's been in and found a box he hadn't noticed before - it was FILLED with photos from the late 1800's through around 1930-ish. He was going to throw them away but I said, "Hey there are names on the back, let's try to find the relatives and see if they want pictures of their Great-Great-Auntie or Grandma".

So we used Google to look people up, guess  what?
We managed to find 2 families - neither one wanted the photos - they just weren't interested.
So I decided one day to paint on one and then we wrote what was going on in the photo- well what we imagined was going on - and people started collecting them.

People send me antique photos and I buy them - to date over 2,000 improved photos SKinney  (my domestic partner and you may know him on Fanbox as "Conspiracy Brother") and I have done reside in public and private collections around the globe.
