Once she burned up the charts -- now she's burning up the West Village.

Rocker Courtney Love scorched her hands after a candle set a curtain on fire in her town house on West 10th Street yesterday.

Sources said the fire erupted in a fourth-floor bedroom just before 2 a.m.

Love was asleep at the time.

She tried to pat it out, causing minor burns to her hands.

After failing to get the small blaze under control she called 911, telling the operator "House on fire!" and hanging up, sources said.

The Hole singer and a houseguest, Blake Wood, escaped, while two FDNY engine companies and two ladder companies responded.
