Emergency weekend pet clinics SUCK.

I've adopted 4 cats over the past several years with health issues because those are the most unadoptable kitties usually and I don't mind a challenge.

I have Dexter, a big black and white love-cat who has zero tom-cat aggression and loves to be held. He has colitis which we keep undercontrol by feeding him a special diet.
Noodle, a funny black longhair has a botched spaying surgery and the resulting infection affected her brain and she has slight brain damage as a result and really, let me stress really weird looking belly.
Vyltte was adopted with her brother Oliver, both were born with kidney disease and we lost Oliver to kidney failure last summer. He was an awesome cat. Vylette hasn't had any kidney issues in about 6 months now that we've got her on a strict diet.
Last but not least is Timmy. She was born with profound developmental problems because her mother contracted distemper while pregnant and distemper does really awful things to growing kittens in-utero.
Even at 8 yrs old, Timmy thought she was a kitten and then she got cancer. Cancer is tough on a cat and not very treatable. The cancer had spread and treating it would have been futile so we opted to let Timmy have all the good days she could.
Yesterday, Timmy stopped having good days and we were just about to leave to go to the vet and let her sleep when Timmy made the choice herself.
She simply laid down on her favorite spot by the back door, laid
