I love classic romances, but we’ve had some great romantic films come out recently. To me, a truly romantic movie is one that makes me wish that I were the main character in the film, or one that makes me think about the movie long after I’ve watched it. These top twenty romantic movies all made me feel that way recently!

Starring: Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler
Released: 2007
My husband hated the premise of this movie – he hates stories that mix love and death, but I just adored it. Swank is a widow who’s husband (Butler) left letters for her to read after his death. Slowly, through his challenges to her, she begins to move on. I cried all the way through it!
