Great post! I enjoyed it; laughed a few times. Everytime they come here I invite them in and take em to church, lol. I don't mean them harm or hardship but it seems their boat doesn't hold much water. When I have time, I like talking briefly with them to explore their ideas; but it is when they get pushy that I start pushing back a bit and they usually head for the door under a barrage of scripture, lol. I mean, even the virgin Mary could be feasable; the problem is, would folks be willing or even able to accept the truth if it was spelled out for them? Jesus was not the first virgin birth, he was the third according to what I have learned so far. Noah was the first that i'm aware of. According to the book of Enoch (agnostic = knowing) the guardians of the sky came and impregnated his mother with him and his father was angry and went to see his father who told him it was the guardians of the sky, and that they had taken him up so high in the heavens that he could "see the whole round of the Earth." (when the comon consensus was that the world was flat) And then there was John the Baptist, older cousin of Jesus. And then Jesus. Its the same with rising from the dead. Jesus was not the first. There was the little girl and Lazerous before Jesus. Jesus wasn't the first to acsend into the sky either. Ezeikiel left in a spaceship looking thing and there was Elijah who left in a chairiot of fire and then Jesus. What if what is considered to be God was a conglomerate universal conscience? There are most definately other life besides on this planet if you do the math, how can one resonabley disagree. Maybe, another race (angels) moved things along scientificaly and it was thought to be a miracle? If there is a creator (I personally believe there is) would He or it not be the creator of the other races as well? If one looks at the "Big Bang" theory creation started as big as a head of a pin and as it grew it caused things to develop until an explosive concoction blew up and is so huge now that its size can only be expressed through an equation! Well, I'll tell ya that tomatoes don't grow unless the right sequence of things happen and it usually takes at least a meager intelligence of thought and action to put all the right things in place so that the plant grows and I can enjoy a sandwich. Hell, scientists still to this day can't tell you why a seed grows. Go figure. They can tell you how it grows but not why. Okay, I'll shut up now, lol! My wifey say that I have to stop playing with my athiest friend and go to bed...LOL! Thanks! Play again tomorrow!
