I would love to know what you think of this.
Mr. Hyatt worked in a company and it was the company's policy to have workers wear stickers with the number of days since the last accident. When the day to wear the number "666" days since an accident had occurred, he asked for the day off and was fired for refusing to wear the sticker.

Meaning the day before he would have worn a "665" and the next day he would have been given a "667" sticker to wear on the job.

He has pending litigation against the company now. Would you wear the sticker for the day?
Or would you choose to be fired?

So Amjad....Had the bible made him to be fired...Is bible is powered or just a book ?

I really don't think he should have been fired over it - I saw the boss said, "It's just a sticker" well gosh it's okay then - it's just a sticker. I felt bad for the employee because he was clearly in anguish over the number. I'm not a believer in any form or fashion and the number 666 doesn't flip me out any more than 222 or 123 does, but I'd rather have a happy employee and if he came to me - I would have told him fine don't wear 666 today, but I better see your smiling face here wearing 667 tomorrow.

All the power to him. He asked for a day off...and the company still fired him. Stand by your faith!

People should have rights No one should have to be made to do things against their will Thats wrong.

If I was that employee and I was told I had to wear something that I thought was against my belief I would not wear it. I think staying up for what you believe is what every person should do. I would not wear that number no matter what it was on. Thanks for the post. Great job

Well, I also think that 666 is just a number.People made from this a frightening meaning. But I think everybody is entitled to believe
what ever he wants and we must be understanding and flexible not harsh and firm.

He should not have been fired. Really! And one should also respect one's belief whether you like their beliefs or not. He should not have been fired at all.

Well I don't blame the employee for not wearing the 666 sticker if that's what his beliefs are. As a matter of fact I wouldn't wear it myself because of the symbolism and what it represents according to the bible.
