Can I just say that I love Neil Tyson. I've seen him speak a few times and he is just amazing. I seriously want to hug his brain.
Not a day goes by that I don't get an email basically about Intelligent Design - and how God made everything and can't I see that?
I also love the emails telling me not to think about anything, God will take care of it all.
Well, sorry I can't do that.
There's no proof of God in a butterfly. Sure they beautiful, but I see millions and millions of years of evolution and change. That makes a lot more sense than, "God did it".
And come on - if our designer was so intelligent, why do we eat, breathe, and drink through the same hole in our body? Thereby guaranteeing some of us will choke and die.
Dolphins are mammals just like us and they eat and breathe through separate holes.
Neil Tyson covers that point eloquently. Give him 5 minutes and 4 seconds of your time, it's worth it and forward this video to anyone you know that is still emotionally attached to Intelligent Design.
