When I meet someone new, and they either figure out from reading my writings or hear it from someone else, that I don't believe in God. The next conversation we have, inevitably they will steer the conversation to evolution, Noah's ark, prayer in schools or some other topic I've covered about 10,000 times.

They ask me all the usual questions I've answered time and time again.
How do I know there isn't a God? ( I don't but there's nothing that says there IS a God and quite frankly I don't care what happens after we die.).

Good post Jo! Looking forward to reading the comments that will surely arrive. Brainwashed Catholic as a child, I never believed in the Bible (new or old) for the sheer fact people picked and choose what to follow or not to follow. Adam and Eve? Where are their remains? There's not a mention that their bodies ascended like Jesus. Lastly - that ark. Do you really think a lion and a zebra could have lasted on that ark without the lion eating the zebra? I used to question my priest all the time - he'd cringe when he saw me going his way. LOL :)

I bet you little question asker! Did you know 60% of Americans believe Noah's ark actually happened? That's astounding to me. Won't even get into the special diets and muscle atrophy LOL.... and oh yeah, a 900-yr old man going around collection animals. But they do teach at the Creationist Museum in KY that there was a period of time when people lived to be 700-900 years old.... :::sigh:::::

So let me get this straight - they teach that people used to live 700 - 900 yrs? So what reason is given to why humans stopped living that long? Any idea what they said about that? 60% - unreal. The blind leading the blind - and the US wonders why we're in the state we're in?

The Creationist Museum is just a monument to bad science and willful ignorance - I sent you a link to your Facebook about it .... it's jaw dropping what they lie to kids about.

@Allie if you get a chance, drop by The Evil Bible and check out their write up about Christians who say the OT doesn't count http://www.evilbible.com/christians_are_hypocrites.htm
