@May Ram - trust me, a lot of people are afraid to be public with how they feel about religion - I get A LOT of emails every day from people who write me and say "Thank you". I also get emails from people telling me I am going to Hell and I will burn in a Lake of FIre because I deserve it (very Christian of those people). Others will be accepting of your difference of thought and others will be defensive - very defensive, hateful and downright rude. My personal opinion is that the defendo-rude people don't want to question their faith because they are smart, logical people and they know it won't hold up to logical examination beyond being a myth. But the absolute freedom one gets from not being bound mostly by fear to a myth is amazing.

Especially when we see the innocent people suffering, it make us wonder if there is a God. That is something I cannot tolerate.

But everything goes well for the wicked. They live like kings doing wicked deeds and yet..........most of them have a happy death.

The people who live a pious life and doing good to others, live a miserable life with never ending sufferings.

No religion can withstand logical thinking. That's just the way it is. In order to work religion requires faith and it requires magical thinking. You have to believe there is a silent being listening to you and caring about you and willing things to happen. But I have issues with believing that the most powerful being in the universe would let little children who have converted to Christianity starve to death in Africa and yet would let my neighbor get a surprise refund on her Dish Network bill for overpayment because she needed extra money to afford some crap on sale at Victoria's Secret. It doesn't make sense because it's not logical because God is imaginary.

What I'm saying is that if the story of creation and the fall of man is clearly a myth proven through evolution, why did there need to be any Atonement for something that clearly could not have logically occurred except as a myth? I know Jesus is considered a prophet in Islam but I don't think that makes it any more true and my own personal opinion is that any religion is unnecessary to be a good person. Understand I'm not taking away anything from you - I just don't believe in it.

I am a Christian and find that, there seems to be alot of anger coming from those who do not believe in Jesus Christ or God? We "CLOWNS" are not going to debate the issue with you because there would be no point if you've never in your life known how it feels when you ask him into your heart. Therefore, you don't know what it's like to have faith. It would be different if you'd actually experienced it and then gave your opinion but you haven't so again mute point.

@Dawn - how is it hateful to point out facts? Evolution is a fact. You believe in gravity don't you? Creationists have yet to prove anything factual unless they make up their own facts like the 2 cats walking off the ark are responsible for all the kinds of cats on earth now.
I fully have faith that God is imaginary. I don't believe that if I ask "Him" into my heart he will be there any more than the Flying Spaghetti Monster will. And believe me, I don't feel like I'm missing anything either.

Understand I'm not taking anything away from you. Believe as hard as you want if it makes you feel good. I'll check out your link but I have a feeling going in it's some Apologetics' attempt at science. If you deny in the fact of huge stacks of evidence that we still came from dirt-man and a rib-woman, well I'd say you need to open your mind a bit because the evidence doesn't say there is no God it simply says that's not how it happened.

without getting into a philosophical debate with you on your beliefs i felt it necessary to let you veiw a very scientific theory acceptted by everyone in the scientific world to be a fact. While it doesn't prove the exsistanc of God it clearly demonstrates that all facts lean that there must be something. Your views and beliefs are your own and thats what makes this country great.Faith is something that everyone experiences in their own way. Everyone has their own way, mine is clearly my belief in God and thats my choice. Darwinism is just not my cup of tea, while your looking for facts to present, check out how science has disproved that common belief as well. Logically and scientifically speaking, when all facts are presented, science dissproves itself constantly and thats why 90% of scientific proof is called a theory or hypothesis. Didnt say you were being hateful, just bothers me when all knowledge good or bad comes from books and yet someone dimisses a book that hasnt changed in over 2000 years as wrong. Its been around for a long time for a reason. If you want proof that there was something as an Ark, then refer to this book to see the purpose of a rainbow. We know how they occur, but what is the purpose. I will let you find that answer. It's all perception and how you percieve the facts and the greatest gift of all is free will. If it wasnt, we would all follow the leadership of one dominant ape or chimp because that is there social structure and it hasn't change through all of their evolution. Just saying! First point - your statement that it bothers you "when all knowledge good or bad comes from books and yet someone dismisses a book that hasn't changed in 2,000 years". Did it ever occur to you that Bible was primitive man's view of the world and it's a product of its time? The earth isn't flat, bats aren't birds and slavery is a real abhorrent thing for humans to do to each other.

Second point - Please don't use the Bible as a science book. When exactly did Darwin's theory of evolution get proven as not a fact? Through DNA and fossil records it is proven more than ever. There's no room for God in the theory of relativity as hard as apologetic may try to insert that as a fact. If you believe that, you really need to expand your reading list.

Remember you always get to have your own opinions, but you don't get your own facts. I can prove every single thing I wrote - I have to rely on faith for anything concerning God and that doesn't work for me.
Believe all you want if it makes you happy, but logically it doesn't add up for me.
And not believing makes me happy.
So there you go.

I guess gravity isn't a fact to you either.

Actually evolution doesn't say you came from apes it shows apes and humans share a common ancestor and did you know that's been proven through DNA? We know where the gene fusion occurred in the ape to human and more importantly, we know when this mutation occurred. So yeah actually evolution IS proven my friend. And that's a fact. Which as I said in my post, doesn't mean there is no God, it simply means evolution is the correct way you and I got here.

As the world becomes better educated, superstitious belief in myths will subside - it's already happening in Europe. Sweden has an 80% rate of people who don't believe in God. Hopefully wars and religious based conflicts will subside as well and humans can advance as one.

If Jesus is a Good God , He Himself born in a Jewish religion and wants to be followed by all other people and doesn't want people to believe in Other Gods ( First commandment )?
Ok leave it... If he is the Supreme God why he allowed to many religions to be created ?
Leave that Also ... Why does he allow people to age and die ?
If he really wants to save us , will he allow us to die ?

Hello Ravi! Your English is just fine, thanks for your comments. The question is, why did he supposedly pay for his life, when there was no real reason for this since evolution clearly shows that's how we got here. There was no fall of man to atone for. Jesus is either mythological or he is a poor guy who died for nothing.
