@Anna - you're quoting a belief, your belief - don't confuse it with a fact. The fact is there is no verifiable evidence of God and there's no way to know if there was a God if "He" was pleased or not by any actions. God doesn't show himself in any positively concrete way.
You gave an example that if you became old and you were diagnosed with Cancer, you believe cancer is a punishment for sin? Am I reading that correctly?

God didn't create anything because he is a man-made creation and not real.

@Anna -No, not too long of a comment. I was trying to glean the meaning from what your wrote so I didn't misunderstand you. Cancer is a result of what you've exposed yourself to environmentally not through sin. If you want to consider a dockworker exposed to asbestos through his job that develops mesothelioma as "reaping what he's sown" I guess that may fit.
But cancer isn't a punishment for sin.
There's zero scientific evidence as illness caused by sin, psychosomatic illness maybe but no true conditions.

Yes we get those images of jesus and Mary on our cornflakes ..But those Christians who believe in these false images..forget that no one knows what Jesus and Mary looked liked..So please tell me you believers...How can you tell the world that your images relate to my cornflakes..when you can,t document any photographic proof of how Jesus may have looked..or Mary....your lying to the world if you claim to see a piece of food that look like Jesus or Mary....And for you Anna Petra..If you have any Scientific proof that what,s written in your bible is true..Then let,s start from the beginning and please tell me excatly in this world..where was the garden of Eden situated on earth..Your an expert on God and reading your bible..so if you claim to me the bible has the answers..then my question will be easy for you to answer....,,Also Anna,,if you know so much about the bible..then tell me did Adam and Eve eat god,s beloved animals like you do..,, or were they vegans.!!..I,ll wait your expert reply on these two Questions...Please don,t avoid them..thanks..

Hi Jolynn..I,m just a nomal person like you that looks at all religions from the outside..and wonder why they are all claiming to be the true church and have all their different religious teachings and versions of God and Jesus..If they can,t answer a Question..they simply say that you have to believe what,s written..Really,, Is that logic or a cop out.. if we spend our entire life from chilhood being taught only one religion,,Having reppetitive suggestions brainwashed into our minds about one particular religion,, then we will lose our ability to think Rational and throw logic out of the window..leaving us a puppet of someone els,s thinking and thoughts...So when you don,t agree with bible students ..believers,,they attack you,,coz they have lost the ability to use their own mind to reason...They become clones and followers of blind faith..It,s called Religious Doctrine...which churches tell me is necessary to keep their flock in order ,, to serve God...who they put number 1 in their life..God comes before wives and husband and children..people get seperated in prayer..and go through humiliating baptisms and all kind of cult like rites....well ,,I,m glad i can see outside of the religious square and i still have the ability to use my own mind...AS they say in the Classics..THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO CANNOT SEE..!!

Creationism is a fairy tale as best and evolution is proven through many, many sources - more than I can honestly site in this tiny space.
The age of the PRESENT Great Barrier Reef Structure is estimated at around 8,000 years old.

The actual reef structure has areas that show to be over 400,000 years old. Again not in the bible.
Aboriginal Australians have been living in the area for at least 40,000 years (source : http://www.gbrmpa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/2142/Fact_Sheet_04_IPLU.pdf).
There are ancient trees and ancient reefs, you just need to get your facts (facts are verifiable and not based on feelings or the intellectual dishonesty that comes from the bowels of Creationism) from someplace other than Creationist website/books/articles and forums.

@Kandi - thanks for that! I have personally never thought it was the goal of science to specifically disprove religion. Unfortunately, many parts of religion that require faith to believe (a man was given magic circle to read ancient text or flew to heaven on a flying horse or a woman was made from a man's rib would be a few examples) do not stand up to scientific study and it's as simple as that.
