I get a lot, let me stress A LOT of emails from people regarding this blog. I also have a few other blogs, but this one by far gets the most comments. I also get a lot of invitations from people to visit their blogs and comment; and ya know what? I do visit the blogs, but I never comment on religious-based blogs and the reason is simple, I don't believe and there's no reason for me to come to your blog and state that. It wouldn't be positive and that's not what I'm about.

I do read them and they are often

I do appreciate your perceptions and understand where you are coming from but I don't believe what you believe and kind of feel your way of thinking is pessimistic and cynical. You have the right to believe in whatever you believe in however you want to believe. However, you have truth mixed in with a way to look at the world of Jesus through a dirty glass. I feel like someone who has hurt you tried to feed you "religion" and that message skewed your view. It's like me talking about cars, I know very little and the rest is me guessing. I don't think people should talk about things like they know what it is all about when they don't. Although I do not believe in religion and think that is a curse word, I am able to respond to your blog without trying to persuade or disuade you from your belief. I can encourage you for your courage to say what you feel. Me personally I wouldn't blog about something I haven't learned all about and also have experience in. I am not going to comment or blog about atheism because I do not know much about it and am probably misinformed. Also I feel that you have been misinformed and pushed away from Jesus because people have tried to push it down your throat, which I don't believe in also. I believe that Jesus is a gentlemen and waits patiently for you to become aware he doesn't force himself on you. I hope you are not offended by anything I have said because that was not my intention. I am just simply voicing my opinion.

@Michelle Thanks for your comment. No one ever shoved religion on me, not at all. Although I raised in a non-religious environment (my father was very much pro-science) he also was a theologian and he enjoyed the research end of seeing what was able to be proven as real, what as allegorical fiction. I was encouraged to read, understand and discuss the many versions of the Bible, understand there are many different Christians as well as other belief systems and to respect them all, and I do.I feel extremely well researched and comfortable in my decision that God and Jesus are imaginary.I'd be very interested to know what you think about this short video: http://youtu.be/ljRKhZ81aqYIf you have time, please watch it (I think it's about 10 minutes long) I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the information in it.
