About this Author

Jo Potocki helps pro choice movements.

I got an email this morning from someone deeply concerned.
The writer was concerned, yes even horrified to find out I have children.
I have a daughter who is leaving for college the end of this Summer to major in psychology and forensic anthropology, and a son that is entering First Grade, having graduated kindergarten.
Both of my children are classified as "gifted", they are my world and I am crazy about them.

To explain the reason this person was horrified, I'll have to back up a bit.

For starts Hail is Hell in Aramaic, Let's go down the list; The world of Jihad, in the Koran it's written "you must lie in order to gain the confidence of others, then you have them were you want them, Muslim is not a religion it's the teaching of Bale who is Satan, Mohamed was a business man who was very controlling and if the people didn't do as he said, off went your head; there is allot more; do the research.
Hinduism, they believe in many gods, the worship a rat, a rodent, they will feel rats and let their children die of hunger, they believe that a fly in the house could be a lost family member, ok you go ahead and collect your rats and stop eating beef, do you research.
Buddhism, Buddha was a good & kind King of that time who thought people how to be peaceful, and when he died he never rose again, do your research.
Jehovah's witnesses don't believe in the holy spirit or any spirit at all, my question is, if people are so afraid of spells, that are dealing with demonic spirits, then why don't you believe in the holy Spirit, they say they know when Jesus is returning, how many times have they lied?
Mormons they think that when they die each one of them who are in good will be a God of their own world, then don't study the Bible they study the book of Mormons written by Joseph Smith
or maybe you want to be one of may wives to one man, do your studdy
Catholicism now this is religion, another term is "political controlling" they worship statutes, and confess their sins to man, but they don't read their Bibles
Christian this where Paul the Apostle let's know how we are not perfect, so if you meet a Christian don't expect the best, we do read the Bible, and the most honest Christian you will meet is the one who has fallen deep and the Holy Spirit had pulled them back, we believe in a relationship with Jesus we don't believe in religion, if you have any questions go to: www.alwaysbeready.com you will learn a great deal, and yes some of those who grew up as Christians their whole life want to taste those things of the world, because people glorify evil, you see every were, I get tempted sometimes, No One Is Perfect

@Jeff - good thoughts all and I love that you say "do your research". That's so important for people to seek out information. Thanks for the link - I'll check that out.

well you said that you and your sister has also discussed about Islam . my point is what did you guys find out about Islam then . How do you see Islam as a religion ?

@Farooq- I learned the basics of Islam - discussed it often and it's got some beautiful points as most religions do. I don't take it any more literally than I would any other religious point of view, but that is only my personal opinion. My sister is very devout and I give her solid snaps for that. It's not my intent to change anyone or be changed- rather - exchange points of view as intelligent adults and learn how we are alike rather than harp on differences. :)
