Well you know I'm a believer :-) I completely without a doubt believe in God. I also believe the scripture that states "Love thy Neighbor" Have I read the Bible through, no I have not can I pull different Scriptures out no I can tell you some of whats in there but the verse I live by the most is "......and the greatest of all these things is love" I feel we should treat everyone with love, we can't scare people into believing in God, we can't consistently preach to them telling them how wrong they are and they need to change their life all this does is push people farther away from God. I believe in God but there are people out there that have preached to me in such a heavy way that it made me want to stop praying and even stop thinking about God. So my belief is God wants us to love each other and treat each other with respect. Even with different beliefs because I have not walked in your shoes so I don't know why you believe the way you do just as you haven't walked in mine, so what right do I have to judge you? There are to many things that I need to fix in my own life to judge yours that goes along with " quit trying to pick the speck out of your brothers eye when you have a log in your own" I don't know I believe our God is a very loving God I believe that if you truly believe what you believe is correct then why would he punish you for something you believe is complete truth... As I said "the greatest of all is love"

You're fair, loving and one of the most honest people I've had the pleasure of meeting.
Like you, I have deep love for my fellow humans and it gets down to - if we could manage to do that - just that and nothing more - love and respect one another - the world would be a massively better place.

I agree so much with Jenny Lee- I once has ask by a Witch why I was a Christian. I told her that I loved the words of Jesus and how they gave ME the power to make MYSELF a better person. His stories help me to forgive, not judge, and to share what I have with people who don't have. I am thinking if we all did that what a great place this world would be. My friend said that was the best reason she has ever heard.

Very interesting blog. It is a good thing that everyone is free to express their own opinions. I can see where each person is coming from, well understand not really see, lol. I find it very difficult in a close personal relationship if the other person has totally different beliefs than yourself. I like to respect their beliefs yet I tend to miss having a partner that shares in those same beliefs.

@glenway - I'd be bored silly to be with someone that thought like I did. My partner is very different and we have outstanding debates (really debates - I don't think we've actually had a true argument in years).
