Stand back!
If I get sent this "Christian Student Confronts Atheist Professor" story one more time, I am seriously going to hurl.

That fact that it's a Christian feel-good story isn't what makes me want to hurl.
I see those stories crawl up my news feed here on FanBox every day - they are just feel good stories with a moral message

@David - I'll answer you here. Actually according the autobiography I looked up (which Einstein wrote and I assume he knew how he grew up). His family had Jewish backgrounds but grew up in a non-religious home. Einstein actually became heavily into first Jewish and then added a few certain elements of Christianity to his beliefs in later years.

Here's a good quote that explains a lot of where Einstein stood: "I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one. You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being. "
