I got an email this morning and the writer wanted to know why I dislike TBN so very much. "They aren't hurting anyone?".
and "Shouldn't people be free to do whatever they want with their money?". Were two of the questions she asked.

1- Yes, I believe TBN is indeed hurting people because they are promising things they can't deliver. In any other realm that would constitute lying at the least and fraud most likely.

2- Yes, people should do whatever they like with their money but it shouldn't be under the guise of buying a miracle or getting extra help from God.

When the TV preacher looks at the television and says, "SOMEONE out there watching is having trouble paying their bills" or "SOMEONE out there watching is having impure thoughts about someone at work"..."Someone out there is fighting the call of the bottle or pills"...... did you ever think they were talking about you?

I had an older neighbor who was glued to TBN because she had some type of degenerative disease and she could no longer work.
She was widowed and her husbands longterm
