I don't believe in the Bible, the Quran, the Torah or any "Holy" book. Put your faith to the test and ask questions - you'll find no religion can stand up to fact finding.

Hello Colin :) Thanks for stopping by! I'm not here to convince anyone of anything - in fact it is VERY interesting to hear from devout believers no one's point of view is discounted. I personally don't believe but it's not my goal to take anything away from anyone...well except those homeschoolers who think the Bible is a science book....

@Nazim - I am not a Christian either so we have something in common. I'm curious what you find so offensive. The Bible is a violent Bronze age book it's filled with incidences of incest, murder, infanticide, rape, kidnapping and slavery. Hardly a book to base one's life or moral values on. I prefer to have a relationship with reality.

I'm very aware of the origins of the Bible - thanks for the confirmation. I see the angle of what you're saying but there's nothing in that pamphlet that isn't accurate when you're on the other side of the angle. I personally disregard the entire Bible as a work of fiction. Speaking of love, if they are truly Christian it shouldn't bother them one bit actually.

JoLynn. You are entirely entitled to believe what ever it is you want to believe. I honor your comments and like the fact that you are willing to stand up for your views. On the other hand I have been positively changed for the good by chrisianity. My life was a mess, useless husband, abuser, drunk, drug addict, poor father, the list goes on and on. In the long run we will all learn the truth, the day will come when two people will be standing and talking and Christ will appear. One will be pleased that his beliefs were right, the other one will say Oh crap they were right. I do want to thank you for your post.

I don't agree with your comment at all because faith requires the suspension of logic and reason to work and judging solely by the emails I personally receive from people who are too afraid to comment openly they really question their own faith, because they fear how they will treated or they fear god, definitely there's fear there.

@Studabak - you put it right my man, it's about being happy and I am glad you found your direction that does it for you.

During the times of adam and eve, moises, abraham, jacob, david ... and all the people before the birth of CHRIST, men were already proven to be sinful in there hearts, If you believe me, the Creator, whatever you call Him, were talking and is walking with men personally during that time. And yet, the people and even all the great men were found to be sinning immorally and unethically, and later again forgive them when He heard their cry of forgiveness, for God is that good if you humble with him..
Then came the birth of Christ, into which the word "CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIANITY" was born, and those who have faith and believe to His prophecy now carry the word CHRISTIANITY as they live with the words of Christ and His Father up to this day. But please do remember, that even if almost the majority of these people say that they are Christians, it does not necessarily mean that they are perfect and far better than those people before during that age. For how much more that in these days we do not see the Almighty God in personal? In dreams? and or through His angels? only by faith, would you believe?
During these days, CHRISTIANITY is just one among the hundreds of beliefs and or religions above these earth. But where to this land have one seen this sect, religion or group in which it is doing better than the great men of histories, who have talked and walked with YAHWEH, your creator, whatever you call him, if you HAVE ONE, TWO, or as many?
The word CHRISTIAN does not necessarily embody all those who say that they are CHRISTIANS, because in reality, if one would not refuse to see, many are just saying that they are, but in their deed or action, it is the reverse.. THESE IS THE SAME WITH OTHER GROUPS of beliefs. So basically
it is our own heart, personality and action as an individual.
Now why do we kept on STONING each others' RELIGION, the CHRISTIANS as a whole, and vice-versa? Why should not one focus on itself and its brother for good? Why should one focus on the MISTAKE or DOWNFALL of others? for no one of us have not sinned? But instead, focusing to our selves' maturity and mastery of knowledge and wisdom, for us to see the TRUTH and able to DETERMINE WHICH IS RIGHT and WRONG...? Would that be classified as one of those persecuting christians around the world as was prophesied in the bible? We came from different races and with each own perspective. We are looking to one God but have many definitions.
Now, if this is the way we believe or understand on what we read in the bible, let's still respect each other, for sure you want others to respect you also.. Our beliefs should not be the cause to hurt and hate each another. We may be intelligent but our intelligence is very limited to mankind alone.
Let us then love one another, for this the bottom line. Because if there is no love, for sure hatred is in place of that love.

I,ve read the Bible--It,s interesting--written by Medieval cruel men,, who in those uneducated days they treated women as unequal to men and slaves to men,,, same with their workers who they kept as slaves and their property,, and stoned homosexuals and practised witchcraft and all kinds of weird and wonderful things that is not acceptable to-day--And no christian follows the Bible any more,, coz if you do you will go to jail.. The Bible is so bad that in our modern thinking Australia,, we no longer can find it freely like you could before coz it has been removed from hotels and schools etc ...as we are a multiculture society now with so many different belief,s that you can no longer force christianity down people,s throats..-----It,s also interesting that Jesus.. ( God,s supposed Son ) was illiterate and so uneducated that he couldn,t write the Bible himself.?? Why would God not give that task to Jesus ??
Why is God so mighty and can do anything,, except educate his Son.??----Why is the Bible so Violent folks.??---Well the simple answer is because it,s NOT God,s true word.. That,s a FACT..!!---- So Who wrote it..??? hahaha--- Nobody Knows,,, It was written by so many unknown men ( not Women ) over more than 1000 years..!!--It was altered and corrected by different believers,, with some parts not even being used...and so many versions are available today,,, depends on your individual religion and how they read the contents of the BIBLE,, coz no person on earth can claim to understand the correct Medieval writings--- that is why when you speak to different religious people they all contradict each other and divide the people of this world....and not even one half of the 7 billion people on this earth believe in the bible or God or Jesus..Their are thousands of different religions....-------If there is a Loving God,, then does anyone believe that he would ask others to write so much hatred and trash as what,s in the Bible..??..Would a Loving God tell men to treat women as slaves, and Rape them and beat them if they didn,t comply to a man,s demands..??

@Joey - I tried to visit the website but the link was no good. I can't even believe you wrote the bible is sensible... slavery isn't sensible for one and there are dozens more reasons that leap to mind. Honestly it is what is, the bible is a bronze-age book written by bronze-age men, I personally think it's laughable anyone even bothers to debate it. Prove it's true, THEN when you have facts on the biblical side - have a debate.
