Intercession for Nations and Missionaries
Intercession for the Nations: “Ask and I will give you the nations for you inheritance (birth right), and the farthest parts of the earth for your possession” (Ps 2:8).The Lord has given us a great promise. He had promised us the nations. Intercession by and for our Missionaries: “I Thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for you. I am filled with you….” (Phil1:3-6). The missionary Paul wrote to the believers at Philippi. To win them for Christ, he had suffered beatings and imprisonment (Act 16). He loved them and constantly prayed for them. This is what Paul was doing from his prison in Rome when he wrote to the church at Philippi. He was reaching out to those who were an extension of his own life. He kept in tough with them and supported them with his love and prayers. Their fruitful lives were a source of great joy to him. But Paul also counted on the churches he birthed to pray for him. “Ye also helping together by prayer for us…” (2 Cor 1:11). The biblical pattern is one we should follow. We are to pray faithfully for our missionaries - our “sent out” one. Your prayer can change histories and establish the Kingdom of God on earth.

We are all given free will. That is we are responsible for our actions. We know right from wrong, at a basic survival level. Religion as we interpret it, has nothing to do with heavenly inclinations, but concerns living in a civil, humane society.
Making fun of biblical teachings is cute and maybe funny, but does not discredit the usefulness and practicality of Christ's teachings in spite our natural inclinations to do wrong and to ridicule principled behavior. Remember, the execution of free will doesn't necessarily mean we are correct in our actions.

@Arnold - Excellent points all. I disagree however as I don't think people need religion to have a moral compass. Some of us are good without God.

hello Douglas~! Read the Leader Board - it shows you who the top 100 are. I'm not here to be controversial. Just share my views and see what others think. The money I make on FanBox is all going to the Kiro Kitende Shed School in Uganda. The children there are absolutely awesome and deserve so much better than what they have.
