The Moon Meece

by Senator D Poet Rhumour on April 02, 2011

The moon meece inhabit the craters that they carefully carve out
By eating all the mooncheese that we hear such tales about
Are small and struggle with the backpacks which they always bring
For even moon meece need to breath and the air up there is thin

And so at night they snuggle down after plugging in their tanks
To the apparatus kindly left behind by some very obliging yanks
And if one day those astronauts visit the moon one more time
They have a plan to barter cheese for another tank and line
