i really want to study the Bible togather with you
Very ture post what I love ,is ebible can take every were easy use.

Hello Arlene, nice work you got here. Unfortunately in Malaysia, nowadays(since last year 2011) the government decided to stamp each Malay translated bible with a serial number. Apparently some thought the bible could be a possible threat to the Islamic West Malaysia whose majority are Islamic Malay by race. Anyway, blessed are those who live in a country and freely practice their belief without restriction. God Bless America!
I'm sorry to hear you can't practice your beliefs without restriction. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Hi Einin Dee, I very much understand your plight. It can be really painful to be denied the freedom to practice one's religion.
Please rest assured of my prayers as you walk in this valley of tears.
In many other countries, where there is absolute freedom to practice one's religion, people feel complacent, lazy, lukewarm and even use the freedom to abuse religion.
This is a great post. I really like anything that has to do with GOD or the Bible. Thanks!!! :D
Glad you enjoyed this post, Cody.
Arlene dear, as usual, you have made a very interesting post.
However, this time around, you would have made it with a bit of caution inserted therein.
For example, instead of saying , "Our opinion is that . . . . . . .", you would have said, "MY OPINION......."
You have the right to use, "OUR", though, but it would have been nice if you had defined that pronoun. Did you purposely decide to leave it too open?
Please welcome this, that majority of Christians- about 99.99999999% of them, do not see the Bible like everything else on the planet with its good and bad side. It is a sacred book , and as such is not like everything else. Besides, hardly do Christians see it as something having a bad side. It's a writing that covers every aspect of God's covenant relationship with His people; from the book of Genesis till today.
If you would have the opportunity to read the Bible soon, please read it in the light of God's covenant with you, and every story therein, no matter how uncomfortable it might be ( like David taking over Uriah's wife, 2 Samuel 11), is meant to teach you and I something very important.
Finally, please give attention to the difference I would like to establish below on the number of books of the bible:
There are seventy-three books in the Catholic Bible; forty-six in the Old Testament and twenty-seven in the New Testament. Until the Protestant Reformation the 'Catholic' Bible was the only edition since, obviously, there was no other major denomination till then. The Protestant Bible is based on the Council of Jamnia (90 AD), whereas the Catholic Bible is based largely on the Septuagint (132 BC). The Seven books that were dropped in the Council of Jamnia (90 AD) were: Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1 & 2 Maccabees, Esther 10:4-16-16:24 and Daniel 3:24-90 and 13:1-14:42. Until the Protestant Reformation, these books were in the recognised canons as approved by the Catholic Church. After the Reformation, the Council of Trent (1545-1563 AD) reaffirmed the Canon as approved by Pope Damasus and the Synod of Rome (382), the local Councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397), and the Canon contained in the Latin Vulgate translation (420) as the Holy Bible.
May God ever bless you and keep His watchful eyes over us.
I stand corrected. Thanks for the updated facts =)
