I have an account already on paypal but I DON'T know to get that debit card you say...
do I have to have earning deposit first to my paypal account before I can get that debit card?

Excellent Article! This is what I have been hoping for... I have never had problems with paypal and if they charge a small fee... that's ok too! This mean much faster payouts! Very cool!

@m$$y_ te - If you already have a Paypal account - you have all you need to cash out. You do not have to get the debit card in order to cash out - it's just another way to access your cash quickly so you don't have to wait for a bank transfer of your Paypal funds.

Part of me thinks Paypal is the way to go... The other part of me thinks that paying $29 on the $1000 is a waste of money and I could wait 2 weeks for a check. The question is processing time, on Fanbox's end. If it's instant parked in my Paypal account, then maybe... But it also takes a few days to transfer from Paypal to a bank account for the cold hard cash. If I'm in an serious bind and need cash now, I might go for the Paypal option. I still remember when Paypal started and it was free to send and receive.

Maybe and I haven't looked into setting up a new Paypal account lately, but I seem to remember something about a non-business account. My Paypal is just for ebay so it's considered a business acct. Like ebay needs more money... Christ I'm glad the ebay wench spent tens of millions out of her own pocked and still lost the California gubernatorial election last year.

@Smartest - I hear ya - I was weighing $29 bucks versus waiting... time is money... but waiting sucks... I'll probably go with the Paypal option LOLOLOL

PS - I'm glad she lost the race too - from what I've read she's kinda psycho.

Paypal is great, but I would rather get all of my money and not have to pay the 2.9% fee...it's convenient for me to cash out with a check since Los Angeles isn't too far from San Diego, but for those who live in a different country it might be a more convenient option for them...either way, Fanbox listened when we spoke up about this option...great to know they're taking our suggestions into stride.

@Arlene - exactly! the community asked and FanBox listened - that's the awesome sauce that is FanBox! Also, this won't apply to everyone, but some people that file taxes as a sole proprietorship can most likely deduct the Paypal fees as the cost of doing business. Obviously don't take blanket tax advice from a comment on FanBox research and see if it will fit your individual tax situation (that's my legal disclaimer y'all!) ;)

Jolyn , thank you for the advice. Paypal is sometimes annoying, because it set the limit that you can have. maybe i am not doing it the right way for it. i have my bank account in one country and live in another so that causes me trouble. well i will figure it out anyway..

Great article, pay pal is great, if you dispute a charge they make sure you receive a complete refund and then go after whoever charged you to collect the money.

I understand the need for a small fee, which is perfectly fine by me as long as I am receiving my earnings from Fan Box.

for me.. i can wait even it more than 20-30 days in check.. 2-3% of your fanbox earning is big just to pay for paypal fees

i prefer cheque over paypal .I can afford to wait than lose

I can go either way - the impatient side of me says "Do Paypal!" and more practical side says, "You can wait for a check!" :)
