Wordpress plugin's are the bomb. They can automate a lot of stuff that would otherwise take up time.

Here is a list of the only real plugins that you need to have a profitable blog and why you need them:

Add Sig Plugin - People are going to leech your posts on RSS feeds. This is good, it's like free publicity for your blog. Putting your signature at the bottom of your posts will ensure that people know who wrote the post, you get some backlink love and hopefully more sales!

Nasir - you can use Google to target any region you like and see what the searches are. Plus using cities from the region in your articles/blog posts will further help Google and other search engines realize you're wanting to sell to a specific region and it will actually help with your relevance. Get listed on Google Places too as a provider of whatever service you're promoting - that's another way to be relevance as a local biz online so your potential customers can find you.
