An inaccuracy:
The placement of the $ sign DOES matter. You only earn when people visit the content that comes after the $ sign.
However, when people visit your blog post from the most important sources: The profile feed, the homepage feed, and FanBox Ads, they go directly to your entire post, so the placement of the $ does NOT matter for those sources of traffic.
So, personally, I would not worry about the placement too much, because the editor automatically places it at around 30% of your content, and most of your earnings will come from the sources that don't use the $ sign.
I've test where to put the $ in the post before. sometimes it's true about stop the post from being seen before the "read more". And I'm not sure still about the earning effect...WAITING for JC to this issue.
Very good and informative for both new posts,,Sudha.

Thank you Siamchic and Rabin. There are many things which are not clear. I think Fanbox should let all the members to know about the rules.

@ Nadia
As for your query about fanbox.
If your blog contains images then it will not be published to your fans and friends immediately.
When your friends try to see the contents they get the message as "this blog does not contain any post'.
It will take about 2 to few hours. sometimes even a day to get published. As the blog posts containing images has to be checked by fanbox team to check whether it contains adult materials. If it is clean, then only it will be published.
Since there will be lot of blog posts for approval, it takes some time, so don't worry about that. If the blog contains adult material, it will be seen as draft for you.
I hope you understood my point.
I lik ur blogs as they r all informative
