This is all very true, but there is a double standard when it comes to odler men and younger women.
Cougars are seen as adventuresome and sexy, when they are actually predatory (boy toys and all that), while men who are attracted to younger women are called dirty old men if not worse.
Even if the women adores the man, and shows it, there will be comments like, Oh, he has money, or Oh I wish I had his money so I can get a foxy lady. What an attitude! There are plenty of women who will go for older men because they are more stable and not in grip of sexual lust.
