Deadly Stage Collapse in Indiana

With the gathered crowd readying for what was set to be an enjoyable night of music and togetherness, things took a drastic turn for the worse at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday night (August 13).

The tragedy took place just as Sugarland was readying to take the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand stage, with high winds knocking over lighting rigging with the stage collapsing in an incident that left five dead and numerous concertgoers injured.
