Don’t you wish it was easier to get that special someone’s number? No more cheesy pick-up lines, excuses about school projects, or hands covered in smudged, undecipherable ink…it would be SO much better if that hottie from science just drove a van with his phone number plastered hugely on the side.
Luckily, that’s exactly how cops in California caught a man accused of stealing tires from a local auto shop. According to Temecula Patch, the guy had taken a large amount of tires from a locked bin and was caught on a security camera tape. He had been driving his van both times, which had “Jeff’s Tires” painted on the side, along with a cell phone number. Needless to say, our friend Jeff was investigated and arrested. Is it just me, or are poorly selected getaway cars a recurring theme in the world of idiotic crimes?
