The part about when your husband starts to lose it too, so you have to cover up your bad day to compensate for your husbands bad day....just about made me fall of my chair! It could not be more true!!! That's just the way it works in the mommy world!! lol Get a good nights sleep and you will laugh at this tomorrow. Thank goodness for bedtime! lol ;P

bob- yes believe me I do love my kids with everything I have :-) Some times you can't wait till bedtime when others you let them stay up longer just because you are having so much fun!! lol thats the joy of being a parent! :-)
Nice post. I definitely know the feeling of needing a day off from being a mom.
Meliha- funny thing though is I can be gone for an hour and think about them the whole time wonder what they are doing always wondering what I am missing.... hmm maybe I should just invest in some ear plugs... thats a great idea lol
It's tough to be a mommy, and many are often viewed as being almost super human, but even mommies do need a break. I hope you get that vacation soon =)
Arlene, Now only if I felt super human :-)
Pete, so true lol
this is a nice post. i like it. women deserve respect for their value in homes.
I need a vacation to. Stay at home moms have it rough I think. Although you get to be with your child every waking minute, you don't get that much needed time away. Like even going to work for a few hours. It is hard to decide which is better, being a stay-at-home-mom or working full time and having more income.
I agree Jaky! I mean when I worked full time mom house wasn't as messy because the kids were home during the day either, so there wasn't near as much to do (well unless you have a babysitter come to your house that is) but then the whole time I was at work I was wondering what they were learning without me. Once I started staying home my children learned more also. I think the mom's that have it the hardest are the work from home mom's I say this because you have to figure out a way to balance work and your home life you have to figure out a way to get it all done while your kids are still running around so something that you actually left for work to do you might get done in a couple hours where as in at home with the kids time can take much longer depending on what happens in the process..... So hats off to all work at home moms cause wow you are awesome!! To all stay at home mom's because we know its a hard job and you don't ever get time off. We can't forget all the working mom's because we know being away from your children for long periods of time like that is harder then ever!
yea..woman derseves for it.. i trying hard now to let my mum have a long long vacation..
Nice post..I am not a mommy yet but I know it is tough.
Another thing is when they are sleeping so peacefully, you just want to wake them up, but if you wake them up, it starts all over again.
Great post !! Salute to Moms - sud have been the posts NAME (according to my opinion) !! tx for the nice post sissy !! tc !! God bless !!
Thanks everyone!!
Krissy- You are so right lol you stare at them and want to go cuddle and love them and play but lol you know its soooo much better to watch them sleep lol
A very touching post! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feeling abount being a parent. We share the same feelings, too. Me, sometimes I wish my chil would stopped growing old so I could keep on hugging him, kissing him. But this is selfishness. Of course, our babies turn into kids and kids turn to men/women. So sad to see them grow and move in different other circles. But this is life! We just have to make sure we do not totally lose sight of them and not guide them. They, our kids-turned men/women, still need us, and that vacation??? It can wait! Hahaha
Rosalousie -lol yea I know because the moment we get that vacation we will be thinking about them the entire time lol :-)
