Its supposed to rain most of the day today, we were planning on going to the zoo but I don't know who's more disappointed me or the kids lol.  Its funny I love to go just to watch my children's faces light up.  The last time we went was Halloween for trick or treating.  Considering the age of my son its really neat to watch his reactions change eat time he goes as he notices more and more.  He had just turned two the last time we went, where as now 7 months later I know there is going to be a big difference.  We don't go to the real commercial zoo instead we go to the animal santucary.  So you are much closer to the animals.  These aren't animals that people just decided to place in the zoo to make money.  They are there because people bought them as pets and then later decided it wasn't a good idea to keep them.  Yes I'm talking lions and tigers even. I have yet to take my youngest daughter she is only 10 months but I can only imagine the look on her face getting to look at the chimpanzee up close.

Children are amazing.

I am a mother too and like you, I find the innocence of children fascinating! To take a step back and just watch how they boldly perform their imaginations and what comes out from their mouths is touching to me. I would love my kids to have a much better life than I did growing up. I had a great childhood but, from my perspective it was the difficulty of being able to go through so many emotions was what made it great to me. All the best!

that is a life of a mother, but it is very grateful to be a mom,and so proud of it.
