very good lessons that all must learn to save their marriage or relationships. nobody is prefect and a spouse should not expect to change the partner after marriage because it is a grown up that is being married and not a child.

Absence of boundaries: there is no such thing!!! Really you want people to change their boundaries. This is the most misunderstood, misused concept in psychological analysis.
Not a big fan of the article in general as it makes generalisations that may or may not have contributed to this failing marriage.
