If it sometimes seems that you're not making any progress, it's because the Lord is untying your knots one at a time. It may be hard, and it may take time, but if you will commit yourself to the process of getting well, sooner or later you will see victory in your life and experience the freedom you have wanted for so long.
FIRST I LOVE MY LORD JESUS AND I LOVE THE WAY THAT JOYCE TEACH IT TO US THE WORDS OF THE LORD JESUS
I ? Joyce Meyer. She always knows just what to say. This year has been a very rough year for me. A long drawn out battle with Lyme disease, my father's suicide, and recently an invasive knee surgery and some complications afterward. Through all of it I am trying not to dwell on the "poor me" aspects of the trials and trying to be aware of the blessings I have received through the trials. It helps to keep a positive attitude and draw closer to God. Somedays it hard but I can see through all of it there is a bigger plan. Great post Jenny. Its always nice to have a reminder that even when we might not think so He is there.

Amanda- I completely understand though I am not going through all the same things you are I can def. say there are several times in my life that I have went God where are you only to realize he was carrying me the whole time! :-)

lots of the knots are not of your making, so it is fitting to give yourself lots of time to work things out
and todecide upon a new course, a better course of action for yourself,especially in the latter part of your life
We can make changes in our life ,right does take time Gods help it will work out . Lord is waiting for you ask for help turn to him .
