God is Awesome!

I know several of them.. its a process, faith doesn't happen over night thats for sure.

BUT Consider this:

Passing through a lighted intersection at 50mph with cars waiting on either side, thats alot of faith you just placed in lights, other drivers, vehicles, road conditions...

Why is it easier for people to have faith in the ones who consistently let them down [(lairs, cheaters, haters, batterers, and thieves) since no one is perfect every human being is flawed], yet its so difficult to put faith in the one who will never let them down..

Hey TK could it be that the people that are putting their faith in all those types of bad people don't realize it or maybe drawn to those traits over and over again?? I have a friend that he always end up with a girl that always wants his money or for him to watch her kids while she goes off and messes around on him. He says that is all he can find?.?.? Or is that certain type people always gravitate toward one another and either don't know or don't want to know that there is better out there for them. Like you say one that will never let them down.... It could be that is all they ever have had and that is all they know so they wont know when a good person is in front of them they dont see that person in that light but when a bad person is in front of them they see the light they should be seeing with a good person.

Ryan, with God you have to have faith, not only faith but believe he will follow through with what you are asking. When your friend says something always happens that isn't putting his faith in God its putting his faith in it happening again. The best example I can come up with is: If your child asks you for a pair of shoes and you tell them yes I will buy you those shoes. Then they are walking around the house saying my dad said he was going to buy me those shoes but I don't think he will. Everyone else is going to have those shoes but me. He hasn't done it yet so that means he isn't going to. Would that be encouraging for you to buy your child those shoes or discouraging? Now if your child is walking around happy as can be my dad said he was going to get me those shoes I know he will, and continues to go around praising you. Is that going to encourage you? I know when my kids are walking around complaining they are less likely to get what they want, if at all. I can also say that if they are happy and believing in me more then likely they will get them sooner then I was planning on. I tell you this because once I started believing this good things started happening to me. God started blessing me in so many ways, and my happiness is indescribable honestly. I do understand that TK and Jenny I was just saying that unhappy place is out there and I am sure as you know TK that is a really hard place to get out of!!! But so many people are stuck there and dont know how to get out or ever find the light. Sometimes I wish that I could do more for my friends but that isnt in my hands:(

You can pray for them, the faith of the righteous is very powerful !!

Sooooo true Ryan I had some one on here that I had been praying for, and I won't disclose names or anything because this is their story but I got an email from them telling me how the prays had worked!! I think that is the biggest blessing of all when you are praying for some one and the prayers come true!
