My friend has told a terrible lie about me and won’t stop the rumor. What’s even worse, she tells me she’s only joking and that I shouldn’t take it serious. How can I get her to stop?

Let people know the rumor is not true and stand firm. Your real friends who know you will support you and not joke about things that can mess up your life.
