5) Rules, Tips and Facts:

1) To be a Knowledge Booster, you can top up your FanBox Bank using PayPal or a credit card.

2) To further increase your earnings and standing on the Leaderboard, you can re-Boost your earnings from your blogs, Ads and Boosts into a Boosting Portfolio -- or cash out -- 90 days after the earning month.

3) Like all other money that you top-up into your FanBox Bank, amounts that are not utilized (for Boosting Portfolios or Ads) can be immediately cashed out.

4) As always, your cash outs need to be $25 or greater, because FanBox does not charge anything at all for this service.

If you use PayPal to cash out, they will charge you a small fee. This fee is NOT from FanBox and is a direct charge to you from PayPal for using their service. 

If you do not wish to pay PayPal this fee, use the "Cash Out via check" option that FanBox offers to you for free.

5) If you select the "Advanced" choice (to the "Who or what do you want to Boost" question, your return can end up higher or lower than if you choose "Simple", of course.

If you absolutely need to ensure that a higher percentage of your total Boosting amount actually gets utilized, I would choose Simple.

6) If you don't enter a minimum return (by selecting "I want FanBox to control this" more of your money may actually get utilized, as the algorithms intelligently find funding opportunities for you, although you obviously give up control over the minimum return you'll get.

At first, I would only try this option with smaller sums of money, to test that the return you end up receiving meets or exceed your expectations, before committing a large Boosting amount to it.

7) If you're a blogger, you do NOT need to launch an Ad, because now others may launch Ads for you, and others may fund those Ads for you.

However, I highly recommend that you DO launch Ads for your own blog posts, even if you don't want to fund them.

Why do I recommend that?

Because launching an Ad for each of your posts takes only about a minute, and…

If you end up funding your Ads, your money will always be utilized before anyone else's money -- to maximize the earnings FOR YOU. 

And if you don't fund your Ads, someone else might -- bringing you free visitors, earnings and new fans from your Ads.

So go back and create great Ads for all your blog posts!
