Best friend now gone

April was my best friend in elementary school. We had known each other since about 2nd or 3rd grade. We were pretty close until middle school.

She was in a car with her brother the day school started, our 8th grade year. They turned a corner too fast on a wet road and hit another vehicle and she died, but her brother was okay!
