Top ten things to never do on a first date

This title could cause this old Navy guy to reach way down in the mud for humor of the rawest kind. However, as a father of young adults who are now active participants in the dating game, I'll restrain myself and attempt to give sensible advice. It has been decades since I've been on a date, and my opinions may seem a bit old-fashioned to some. But, as they say, all's fair in love and the war of the sexes. Fighting to keep my mind out of the gutter, here are my top ten things you (male or female) definitely should never do on a first date.
