Feb. 16 - 19

The first episode of Survivor started on Wednesday.  I am a diehard Survivor fan.  Although I have missed 1 or 2 years, but have got right back into it.  If you are not familiar with this show, it is about 16 individuals who get dropped off on an island somewhere.  This year it is in the jungles of Nicaragua.  I'm surprised some people don't come more prepared....like the guy who came with his suit on, or the gal with a dress.  They must whisk them off with them not knowing that that they were leaving that certain day!  They form two teams and are pitted against each other in different challenges.  The first team to lose, has to vote off a person.

The team that wins the challenge gets different rewards, like by helicopter or boat to a nearby village for a massage, chance for a shower, have a feast and other types of rewards.

Also during the game, they have immunity idols hidden and clues are there for people to find it.  Some people have found the idol without the clue, which is quite something (which is used at tribal council - this is held at the end of each show for the teams to vote a person off, and if you have an immunity idol, you can use it, if you think you are being voted off - and it will save you from that).  One time, a person made something to look like an immunity idol, the person who found it, thought it was the real thing, and tried using it.  That was too funny.
