Jan. 21 - Why God?

I believe in God, that he sent his son Jesus Christ down to this earth.  That he died for our sins and rose from the dead.  He lives this day through the Holy Spirit.  A lot of people ask why does God allow all sorts of things to happen, like floods, earthquakes, people getting murdered, wars, etc.

All things work together for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28)

We may not understand why things happen, but in end it serves a purpose.  Sometimes we may not get an answer for the why?  But we have to trust in God, that is all we can do.  I don't profess to be a great Christian with a lot of understanding about all things biblical at all.

Thanks Russ! We all through ups and downs in life - it's really how your perspective is - although some may go through life without God - as He is our creator - it only makes sense to me to have Him control my life - as He is the Almighty God and ultimately controls everything in the end!
