So far I have only posted photos, videos, stories and have not really blogged per se. So I will start blogging. Whatever thoughts or ideas I have on my mind. Don't know if it will be interesting, but let's see how it goes.....
I just came back from Jamaica with my sister. I had won the trip through the radio station. I had to be the tenth caller during the contest. It was the second day into the contest and the radio station had a large beach bag filled with 15 beach items and we, the contestants, had to guess what was in their beach bag (and good thing I got through early, as one is able to guess easier early in the game).
The first caller guessed sunscreen and my guess was sunglasses. A lot of people guessed things that anyone would think would be in a beach bag, like water, money, I-pod, for example, but these items were not in there unfortunately.
There were 15 trips to won, everyone got to bring a guest, so 30 of us, including about 5 from the radio station and one person from Transat.
This was in November of last year. Neither my sister or I get to travel that much, so this was a real blessing! This is my diary of our trip:

The cab came at 2:30 a.m., as we were requested to be at the airport by 3:30, then we picked up J. (my sister) and then we were on our way to the airport. We got on the plane at 5:30 a.m. We stopped in Winnipeg then headed to Montego Bay, Jamaica. We found out the destination as soon as we entered the airport as the only destinations posted at that time in the morning was Winnipeg and Montego Bay. They are 3 hours ahead. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. (25 minutes earlier), and got to Iberostar Rose Hall Resort at 7:00 p.m. and went for dinner there (very elegant).

We had an orientation with one of the Transat representatives and she gave us an overall summary of all the different tours we can take in. We then headed over to the QM-FM broadcast area and watched Tara & Mike (the radio hosts) do their thing for a little while.
We then decided to have a walk on the beach, and laid on our beach chairs there. In the evening we met with the radio group for drinks at the bar and had dinner at the buffet.
Some of the amenities which are included are all drinks, mini bar, room service, the gym,
