Mr. Jonny Cash, I intend to devote one of my blogs to HIV/AIDS awareness and obviously most of the data I shall be using will come from other sites such as wikipedia, would that be against the policy of fanbox? Thank you.

I agree to Johnny, and thanks a lot for all the info of this. And I know one more reason why someone's account will be deleted also.

If someone just open an account, and he/she never create any blog, and never have friends/fans. I think that can be another reason, because I knew one who just want to message and need a sincerely relationship with me. .and yes we did. But filanally we have to be friend some where else any way.

Hello, Thanks for clearing this up Johnny. And for those who do not understand the tagging thing, and if you're not familiar with facebook tagging, for example, you're eating in a restaurant with some friends and you took a photo of your group. next thing you'll do is upload the photo, let's say, here in fanbox. And for your friends (who are also here on fanbox) to see those photos you uploaded, you have to tag it to them so that they'll receive it also on their fanfeed (and comment, if they want to). You should only tag if the person is in the photo. This is the basic idea of tagging.

What's happening here is that those "bright" people tag their friends in any photo to provoke them to visit their profile or blog (or something like that). Because one of our first blog when we join fanbox is our photo album(s). so when people are tagged in a photo, they will obviously and actually will have to visit the tagger's blog, in turn, earning money for the tagger.

For those who have a better understanding regarding this, please do share. This is only my personal assessment and i could also be wrong.

I am sorry if I made it seem like this is a call for suggestions - it's not -- I am just going overboard to ensure everyone understands how the FanBox algorithms work.

I agree that transparency is best - and that is exactly why I am communicating here - to ensure that everyone understands the algorithms. Everything I posted here has been made clear before, but I know we have newer folks here so it's good to remind.

Ibrahim, it is my understanding that it is OK to copy and paste from Wikipedia -- they just ask that you give them credit.

So at the bottom of your post, say: Source: Wikipedia.

I think fanbox don't delete accounts that have bad pics aswell

FanBox definitely deletes accounts that upload adult content. Please report all such photos and each and every one of them is reviewed.

How many accounts one can have? I thought only one is allowed per person.

I am happy to have read this post, Johnny. Being quite new to the site, I get a wee bit frustrated with people wanting friends or fans, but all they seem to do is chat, or add a photo.

hello johnny just inquire some queries from you coz i just notice for the past few days that i posted new blogs and some of my fans and friends visited on it and sometimes they gave comments... then it seems i don't receive any credit from it or it seems it doesn't earn anymore..could you gave me some explanation on it..i'm just a bit confuse or there's another rules that i haven't notice..thanks and do hope to hear from you...have a blessed day...

Hi April, I do not have access to your account, but guess what? Customer Service does! Reach out to them -and they will be happy to explain how the system works -- including the fact that each post and visitor makes different amounts - including zero for some visitors. They will be happy to look into your account if you like. Good luck.

Thanks for this info. I was really confused with my account too! For sure I did not do anything from those reasons you have stated, although I have been inactive for a while. So I don't know what will happen again with my new profile. I think the only thing I did is to link my account on here in my own website. Is that against the policy??? I honestly don't want to continue blogging here if my account will just be deleted later on. I've generated some amount but all gone and now starting all over again. Will it be in vain again & just vanished? Please enlighten me about this confusion. Thanks very much!

Love the information. Johnny you should make a hole tab dedicated to the do's and don't and fine guidlines of being members (a fine comb over all the details cash out etc) mabey under the mydashboard area, for fanbox. Im sure everyone would really appreciate that so there questions and answers will all be ava. under one tab section. It's ok in the forums but usually it doesn't cover everything. it's all mixed around. And it's great to see other bloggers try to find comb it but the truth is what we really want and that has to come from the owners it self it will make things appear legit in it's entity/ anyways love the progress this site has really moved fast in the last 2 months ive been here.* have a nice day happy blogging trails people. <3

Hey Johnny, I guess you're the guy behind it all. I was wondering at first if you're just a clever blogger who was posting these to get more readers. Lol. But I'm so glad to have found this site. I've already told several of my mentors about this site. I wouldn't be surprised if you suddenly have a huge number of music related people creating accounts on this site. And they have HUGE followings. So I hope it catches on and I could proudly say I was one of the pioneers who joined when it was still pretty new. BTW, I've already announced to farewell to my FB friends and that I've found another. Lol.

Everyone else: When someone reaches out to you with their stupid "you visit my blog, I'll visit yours" (objective being to make money) or other sad attempt to defraud other bloggers, remind them that:

1) It DOES NOT WORK. Really, it doesn't. Not even one penny has been gained that way.

How many ways can I say this? If it worked, FanBox wouldn't be in this business.

IT"S SOOOOO SAD to see people thinking that the only reason they have been earning money is because they have been gaming the system. What they don't realize is that -- they have earned absolutely nothing because of those activities -- but by doing those activities, and talking about them, all they're doing is creating a environment that attracts the wrong sorts of characters.

Why can't they just stop - for a moment - and try and believe in themselves - and think that maybe, just maybe, they can get ahead and be successful without cheating? Why can't they try, just for a few days, to make posts and ads, and find out that its not the fraudulent activities that were making them money?

So sad. You think you know someone - and then find out something you wish you had not.

2) Many accounts are still marked for deletion. I have personally unmarked many of them this morning - in the hopes that they will amend their ways. You know who you are - and I know who you are.

I don't need a thanks or for you to say anything. I am just asking for just one favor in return: Try and trust me for a moment. Try and do what I suggested in my posts, for a week., and see what happens.

And when others reach out to you to pull you into the gutter - just say: I'm going to try it the honest way for a bit and see how it goes. I want to have my dignity in place so that when I'm on top, I have ZERO doubts about how I got there: Through honest work and focus, using my creativity and passion.
