Definition of Border - it is a line that seperates one country, state, province, etc., from another. In fact you cannot cross the border without a visa or travel permit (as in the old procedure of Saudi Arabia before for those travelling expats). It is also known as a demarcation line accepted by any countries involved and brokered/implemented by United Nations as a sign of any-concerned-country's political sovereignty. Sometimes that borders are fenced or having checkpoints.
