That was mine, all mine;

Snoopy

Soft and furry; that she “is.”

She curls up at the foot of my bed in a ball.

Not only do I hear her loud purr,

But my heart does she enthrall.

She knows my moods; when to stay out of reach,

And when to get up close.

She’s a friend I’ve grown accustomed to –

One of the ones that I love most.

Her name is Snoopy; and, have you guessed

That she’s a feline; yes, a cat.
