Love is like a drug, as I grow older I still long for the fairy tale love like I did when I was a young girl. My old heart still aches for the fire that only being in love can cause. But my mind reminds me over and over again how fairy tale love is only true in fairy tales.
Is love only a dream, a fairy tale. Is love about a belief in a God or gods that are unattainable, or is it something we as humans need to keep our species alive like water or food?
Life is so harsh, if we as humans did not have our God or gods who love us, or our fairy tale love to believe in, would life be worth the pain?
Did we create our God or gods who love us more than life it's self, write books about how these gods would fight for us, leave their beautiful perfect worlds to join us on earth to suffer and die for us so we could feel loved, just like how we created our fairy tale stories with the perfect love.
Did we create this "love" for our own survival? Or could love be a part of human evolution to help us deal with the harshness and reality of life?
