Ray Bradbury quotes

by Senator Vicky SC on December 01, 2011

The love is beautiful, bit sometimes cruel - there is always somebody, who is waiting somebody else.... and this somebody else is not coming back home....

Two things in this world are infinite: the universe and human stupidity. For the second one I'm not quite sure.

We do not have enough force to follow up our minds.

Ladies and gentlemen of the class of 97, anoint themselves with sunscreen.

If you need to give you only one tip for the future, it will be the sunscreen.

The benefits of sunscreen in the long term is proven by science, while others are my tips based on my own meandering experience. Here are these tips:

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. In fact, you'll understand the power and beauty of her youth after they fade, but not paying attention now. Believe me after 20 years. Looking at old photos will remember in a way that now you can not realize how much opportunity is there before you and how amazing you looked. And in fact you were never fat.

Do not worry about the future. Or worry, but know that your concern will benefit more than chewing gum to solve algebra equations. The real problems in your life will be things that never comes to mind are.

Every day do something that scares you.

Sing.

Not to be heartless soul. Do not tolerate people who are heartless to your.

Clean your teeth with a thread.

Do not waste your time on jealousy. Sometimes you will be in a forward position, will sometimes behind.

The paradox of our time is that we have higher buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more but have less, we buy more but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences but less time. We have more education, but less sense, more knowledge but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. Multiplied our possessions but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom and hate too often.

We learned how to experience, but not how to live. Added years to life not life to years. We went to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. Obey space widths, but not mental.
