Welcome to the fresh new last 4 months of 2012 of the GeekSpeak Series....

Welcome back!
It is Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Whew! Let's catch our breath! In this series, you've been creating an online Work Journal, setting goals and for a few lessons we've been discussing your work in the PRODUCER KNOWLEDGE ROLE which is, of course, posts. On the days you aren't here learning more, I want you to be sure that you are putting all the 'lessons' into your daily work habits. That can only be done by practice - practice - practice and asking questions.
At any time you can ask questions in the comment section below, and I will be happy to answer to the best of my ability. Believe me, as I prepare these lessons, I see plenty that I need to review and sharpen in my own work. We're all in this together.
Maybe you don't have a question... maybe you know of a technique or some knowledge that would help others. Please share with us, so we can all benefit from each other. Go back and review the Geek Speak posts from earliest to last week's. Make notes. Figure out ways that you can use the information to your best advantage. I'm also available through the FanBox message system. I'm always glad to hear from my friends and fans!
Speaking of helping each other, this week as we're taking a pause to review and think about how to improve I have a very important question for all of you...
ARE YOU HURTING YOUR FRIENDS AND FANS ON FANBOX?
What?! What a silly question, you may think. No one wants to hurt their friends and fans. Yet, many of you are! Some of you are even hurting yourselves. Let's talk about some serious problems I see all the time on FanBox.
"Please come read my post! http://fanbox.com/..... " Ever received or sent a message like this? It's often a mass effort at short-cutting the FanBox system of placing a post, an ad and gathering Friends, Fans through the Search Engine and by Friending/Fanning so that your posts are presented on your News Feed or Home Page and theirs on yours.
The sad fact is that such things DO NOT WORK. Oh, you may get people, who instead of deleting you, feel sorry for your "no one reads my posts" sad luck story and actually come visit your post... BUT YOU WON'T GET PAID. And you may be setting yourself up for account deletion.
Or maybe you do this... "Like" and leave. Or "Like" and write "Nice post", "Great job", ... and leave. The goal is to spendAdult content and certain language are not permitted in premium blog posts.
Why? In order to fulfill our objective of helping you earn money, we have to abide by mobile carrier regulations.
In order to publish this post, please remove all offensive language and adult references, by modifying any yellow highlighted text. We apologize if our automated system flagged something it really shouldn’t have.
